Kings Heritage Christian Childcare has an opening for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping, basic accounting, payroll, and inventory tracking. The right candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely payroll, and must be willing to step into the classroom to assist with various tasks as needed.
We are growing very fast and we are building a team of passionate educators and professionals to provide outstanding child care service in the region of Niagara. We are a Christian daycare center, therefore our play based curricula are implemented within a Christian faith framework as we foster Christian values like love, peace, integrity, honesty, unity, respect and responsibility.
The candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Process accounts payable and manage vendor payments.
- Prepare rental billing sheets and invoices, and manage receivables.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
- Run payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Track inventory of supplies and equipments, reconcile physical counts, and update records.
- Assist with expense reports, and credit card reconciliations.
- Support year-end accounting processes with an external accountant, auditor and municipality.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
- Assisting Director and Supervisor with various administrative tasks
- Ability and willingness to cover shifts in any classroom as needed.
- Strong analytical, organizational time management skills
- Willing to participate in minimum 12 hours per annum of Professional Learning Development
- Flexible to perform other safe task as instructed by the Supervisor due to the need of the daycare
- Certified in Standard First Aid and CPR training.
- Clear Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Hours will be 4 to 8hrs from 8:00-5 pm Monday through Friday.
