Job Description:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices, proficiency with accounting software, and excellent organizational skills. This is a part-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and company credit card accounts
- Prepare and maintain payroll records and expense reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and management regarding financial matters
- Support year-end audits and tax preparation as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP and standard bookkeeping practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
