We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee our automotive repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and management, ensuring that our shop operates efficiently while providing top-notch service to our customers. As the Shop Manager, you will lead a team of mechanics and technicians, maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance services, ensuring timely completion of work.
- Maintain inventory levels of hand tools, power tools, and parts necessary for repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional development.
- Be able to estimate repairs
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with dealership representatives to coordinate services and maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in an automotive setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for various repair jobs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
