Job Type: Full Time
Hourly Rate: $17.85

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers.
- Following operational procedures and policies for customer service, cash handling and coffee service.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as teas, iced drinks, specialty coffees like espressos, cappuccino, café latte including art latte technique.
- Prep work for beverages and food related products
- Practice proper food safe procedures
- Inventory checks and restocking

Maintain the orderly and clean environment of the Bistro including:
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Cleaning the workstation, tables, counters, floor
- Washing dishes
- Maintaining garbage and recycling
- Ensure inventory stocks of Bistro area are replenished and ordered
- All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Scandinave Whistler
Prerequisites:
- Previous experience as a barista or in food and beverage is an asset
- Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and special events as needed.
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear criminal record check
