Job Responsibilities: Visiting crops in Greenhouses and out door, working with IPM leads, scouts, taking observations to assess status of various crop pests and disease problems, assessment of biocontrol status in the crop, assessment of pollination activity of bumblebees in a crop, writing a report , communication with growers (clients), communicating with immediate supervising officer, consultation and advising right solution of the problem, supervising and training people for right application of the bios, helping in other business related deeds, maintaining relation with existing accounts, retaining customers, helping new customers to understand the dynamics biocontrol and application of biocontrol.
Experience Two years in the application of biological pest control techniques/growing / services /greenhouse vegetables, flowers, Cannabis is an asset.
Skillful in identification of the common insect pests of greenhouse crops such as peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, lettuce, flowers, cannabis), crop diseases and biocontrol agents.
