Job Title: Bellperson
Reports to: Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Bellperson is the front-line representative of the company while acting as the Front Desk Agent as well as the Bellperson, and as such must always be pleasant, friendly, polite and courteous to the guests. He/she acts in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Executive Conventions Management. He/she should make every reasonable effort to meet the needs of the guests, within corporate guidelines. He/she ensures that the facilities, rooms and equipment meet the needs of convention and training groups.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the facilities are set up in accordance with the needs of the convention or training group; including setting up tables, chairs, and equipment in classrooms, meeting rooms, and drill hall, and for banquets in the restaurant. Assist guests with their luggage needs. Ensure the common areas are tidy. Ensure any minor repairs and maintenance required on the facilities is completed. Report any major issues to the General Manager. Act as the Front Desk Agent during brief absences, in accordance with the Front Desk Agent job description. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications and Experience
Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment.
Ability to be up & down multiple stairs per day.
Ability to independently plan and organize own activities.
Pleasant and friendly. Courteous and polite.
Understand and model team spirit.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
