Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Supervisor to join our growing Before and After School team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves engaging with students as well as parents, assisting and supervising educational programs, and contributing to the overall development of children in our care. The successful candidate will be under the direct supervision of the companies director and will be expected to supervise the onsite staff on a daily basis.
Duties
- Educate and support children in various learning activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programs tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Provide tutoring and individualized support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications
- Must have a level 2 or 3 early childhood education certificate
- Experience working in the position of Supervisor in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A genuine passion for educating and mentoring young learners.
- The ability to support and train the stuff working in the program.
