Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining the cash register.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of low supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Be a team player, assisting when needed and coordinating duties with other FOH staff
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Skills
- 3+ years experience working as primary bartender
- Ability to handle high volume orders and ensure consistency in our beverage standards
- Strong customer service skills, creating memorable moments for guests.
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. (TouchBistro)
- Experience in food service or hospitality is required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
- Accurate cash handling and transaction management is required
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately.
- A helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers alike.
- Willingness to learn and be a part of company goals and values
