Job Title: Bartenders
Job Summary:
We are seeking several skilled and personable Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, possess a strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area at the Avenue Room Wedding & Event Centre in the heart of downtown Saskatoon.
The Avenue Room Wedding & Event Centre is owned and operated under Infinity Management Inc. and along with Infinity Events & Décor is just one of our many subsidiaries that are heavily involved in the events industry and encompass a wide range of event related services and activities that include but are not limited to: weddings, charity & non profit functions, large scale corporate events, jewelry, live florals, photography, videography, event venue management and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, take beverage orders, and make recommendations when needed
- Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes or customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and equipment
- Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and consumption to ensure a safe environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Upsell beverages and promote specials or featured items
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Must have Serve it Right Certificate
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25-50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks

- $18/hr + tips
