Experienced Barista – Part-Time

Skylark Café is a new local café in Carp, serving specialty coffee, pastries, and fresh food in a warm and welcoming environment. We are looking for friendly, skilled, and motivated baristas to join our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced baristas who are passionate about coffee and customer service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with espresso machines, latte art, and preparing a wide variety of coffee beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and care
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Assist with food preparation and serving baked goods, sandwiches, and salads
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following food safety standards
- Handle cash/POS transactions accurately
Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience required (espresso machine knowledge is a must)
- Strong knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and beverages
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
- Flexible availability (weekdays and weekends)
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Schedule:
- Day shifts (café open 7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
