We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and experience in the food industry. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent service to our customers, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Follow all food handling procedures to maintain safety and quality standards
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
