Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Balanced Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in balanced training methods and a genuine love for working with dogs and their owners.
This role requires someone who is skilled in conducting board and train programs, private training sessions, and group classes, with the ability to tailor training techniques to meet the individual needs of each dog and owner.
Behaviour modification and working with successfully rehabilitating aggression, reactivity & resource guarding is a must
Management & Sales experience is also a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct board and train programs, ensuring consistent and effective training throughout the dog's stay.
- Lead private training sessions, working closely with clients to address specific behavioral issues and training goals.
- Host group classes, providing instruction and guidance to multiple dog-owner pairs in a dynamic and engaging environment.
- Develop personalized training plans based on individual dog assessments and owner goals.
- Educate and support dog owners, offering practical advice and techniques to reinforce training at home.
- Maintain detailed records of training progress and communicate effectively with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest training techniques and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a balanced dog trainer, with a strong portfolio of successful training cases.
- Comprehensive knowledge of balanced training methods, including positive reinforcement and correction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with dogs and their owners.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Work experience in a professional setting is required

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $4,500.00-$6,500.00 per month
