Looking for a dedicated person to join our team of animal lovers. Ideally someone who has had at least one year of experience with animals but will to train for the right candidate. Must be able to work in a team and independently, ensure safety for the pets in our care, and possess communication skills. Grooming knowledge is a bonus as well as breed identification and breed specific haircuts
Job Responsibilities:
- Brushing and prepping dog for bathing
- Bathing and drying dogs
- Toenail trims
- Ear cleaning and other hygienic needs
- Answering phone and making appointments
- Sanitation and cleaning of salon
- Communicating with clients effectively about any health problems, allergies, reactions to any grooming procedures, and understanding the grooming needs that the client expresses
Job Type: Monday to Friday 30-40 hours weekly
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
