Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bakery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales through effective planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all bakery operations, including baking, decorating and packaging.
- Manage bakery staff including hiring, training, scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all products meet quality, safety and presentation standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor financial performance and assist in budgeting and cost control.
- Innovate and introduce new bakery items based on trends and customer demand.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems, POS, email, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary or baking certification is a plus.
- Experience with scheduling software and inventory management tools.
