About the role:
We are seeking a full-time cashier to join the Birdies team! Part-time hours are available starting in August, with full-time hours available in September.
Birdies Bread Co. is a sourdough bakery, located close to downtown Dartmouth. We're passionate about providing great experiences to our customers, whether that's in baked goods or quality service.
We're looking for someone:
- hard-working, reliable, open-minded and enjoys team work
- passionate about local products, and can retain product knowledge
- experienced handling cash and operating POS systems
- who can keep a cool head and offer great service during busy times, and can self-start during slower periods
- excited about customer service, leadership and the community
A background in the food & hospitality industry is a great asset, but not required!
