Begonia Bakehouse, is a French inspired artisan bakery.
If you enjoy working mornings with every afternoon off, we have a role for you. We are currently seeking an experienced Morning Baker who is independently motivated and can work as part of a collaborative team. Good time management and communication skills are a must.

You will be responsible for:
- Early morning production, baking all bread and pastries
- Assist with making croissants
- Assist with bread production and other pastries within the bakery.
- Assist and collaborate with the team on weekly special croissants
- Properly and safely use all equipment (Mixer, Oven, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with other team members ensuring timelines are met.
To join our team, you’ll need:
- Ability to work an early morning shift
- Possess excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to self-manage and problem solve
- Ability to complete recipe calculations
- Ability to read and follow recipe directions
- Ability to meet daily production requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Cleanliness
- Able to lift 20kg repeatedly and able to stand for full shift
Education:
Formal baking training is an asset.
Experience:
- Baking of croissant pastries and bread.
Days and Hours of Work: Full Time - Five Days per Week. Wednesday - Sunday. Working hours are Wednesday - Friday 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 4:00 a.m. - noon. Willing to work with the ideal candidate, if shorter days are required (wanting to leave earlier in the day).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
