We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to prepare high-quality baked goods that reflect our commitment to artisanal excellence and fresh, flavorful ingredients. The ideal candidate has experience with scratch baking, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other specialty items
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
- Measure, mix, and bake ingredients according to established standards
- Maintain a clean and organized baking station in compliance with food safety guidelines
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
- Assist in developing new menu items or seasonal baked offerings
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and report restocking needs
- Label, package, and store baked goods properly
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to meet customer and catering needs
- Maintain cleanliness of all baking equipment and utensils
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef (professional or commercial kitchen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler’s Certification is a plus
Shift Timings: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
