We are looking to hire an AON (Awake Overnight) Group Home Worker who has the ability to stay up all night.
We are looking to fill AON shifts for Friday - Sunday, 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.

Hourly wage begins at $23.53, but higher rates will be considered based on candidates' work experience and/or qualifications.
Shift responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting adults with developmental disabilities with nightly activities.
- Providing and/or assisting Core Members with personal care.
- Housekeeping duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Making and preparing meals/snacks.
- Ensuring that the physical, emotional, spiritual, vocational, recreational and health/safety needs of our Core Members are met.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Negative TB Test
- B.C. Medical Insurance (MSP or equivalent)
- Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C
- Class 7 (N) BC Drivers License or better
Qualifications:
A Group Home Worker must have the following knowledge and qualifications:
- Experience in working with people with disabilities, particularly those with developmental disabilities. Preferred certifications include Community Support Worker or Health Care Assistant.
- Physically fit to perform role description duties required for the job.
Willingness to obtain and maintain as required:
- Up-to-date immunizations (Covid-19, Flu, etc.)

- CLBC Privacy Training
Must be able to physically do the following:
- Walk a minimum of 2.5hrs / 160 minutes.
- Push/pull wheelchairs on both flat and inclined surfaces.
- Climb stairs to a maximum of 3 stories.
- Bend at waist, twist and turn.
- Squat and kneel.
- Reach and lift: Floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder and above.
- Carry and hold at least 1/3 of your body weight.
