Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer/general maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and restoring vehicles to their pristine condition, ensuring customer satisfaction with every service provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery, ensuring all areas are spotless.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to provide clear visibility.
- Apply protective coatings to paint and other surfaces as needed.
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or issues that need addressing before detailing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work areas and equipment.
- Shop clean up at end of work day, sweeping, picking up any debris and discarding of damaged used parts.
- Ensure garbage removed at end of work day.
- Drive out vehicles from shop and assist in arranging as per scheduled work day.
- Drive all vehicles back into shop at end of work day.
- May be required to assist in removing car parts ie bumpers, door etc (training will be provided to start)
- Assist body shop technicians when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Attention to detail is crucial; a meticulous approach to cleaning is necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for test driving vehicles post-detailing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.55-$25.56 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
