Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards, both inside and out. As an Automotive Detailer, you’ll work directly with customers and ensure their vehicles look and feel as good as new.
Training will also be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform exterior detailing services, including washing, waxing, polishing, and tire cleaning.
- Clean and condition interior surfaces, including seats, carpets, upholstery, dashboards, and consoles.
- Detail engine compartments and other specialized areas as needed.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the completed work.
- Follow safety procedures for the handling and use of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and materials used.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning products and supplies.
- Occasionally assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, as some tasks may be outdoors.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Training will be provided
Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in an environment that may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and various elements.
- Outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
