Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the vehicles we service are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards, both inside and out. You will play an integral role in providing an exceptional customer experience by making sure every vehicle is immaculate and ready for display or delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exterior Detailing: Wash, wax, and buff vehicles, ensuring that all areas, including wheels, windows, and undercarriages, are clean and free of defects.
- Interior Detailing: Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats, and floor mats. Clean and polish dashboard, console, windows, and mirrors. Ensure all interior components, including the trunk, are spotless.
- Paint Care: Apply protective coatings and wax to protect the vehicle's exterior paint and maintain a glossy finish.
- Engine Bay Cleaning: Detail the engine bay, remove dirt, and apply appropriate cleaning agents to maintain engine cleanliness.
- Odor Removal: Use air fresheners or other products to eliminate odors from the vehicle's interior.
- Touch-ups and Detailing: Perform minor touch-ups on paint, upholstery, or trim when needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect the finished vehicle to ensure all aspects of the detailing meet the company’s high standards and customer expectations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean detailing tools and equipment to ensure they are in working condition.
- Lot Organization: Maintain Lot cleanliness and continuing to keep Lot organized
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
- Clean drivers abstract
- Attention to detail and ability to consistently perform high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
