Gold Key Collision Center is looking for an Estimator, this person plays a key role in ensuring our customers receive accurate, timely repair estimates and a smooth experience from drop-off to delivery. You will inspect damaged vehicles, prepare estimates using industry-standard software, and act as a liaison between customers, insurance companies, and our repair team.
Duties
- Inspect vehicles to assess damage and required repairs
- Prepare accurate estimates using Mitchell, software
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians
- Maintain repair documentation and ensure timely updates
- Follow up on approvals, supplements, and repair status
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the repair process
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an estimator in an auto body or collision repair shop
- Proficiency with estimating software (Mitchell Connect preferred)
- Strong understanding of vehicle structure and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Bonus Points For:
- I-CAR certification or equivalent training
- Experience working with both DRP and non-DRP claims
- Bilingual (English + [other language], if applicable)
