Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and paint, with experience in using hand tools and power tools. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting.
- Replace or repair damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Perform mechanical repairs as required to ensure vehicle functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure quality control.
- Keep accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
