Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive repair to perform bodywork on vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and refinish damaged vehicle bodies and parts
- Perform bodywork including dent repair, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and specifications
- Inspect vehicles for additional repairs and communicate findings to the team
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body prepper or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in automotive repair
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with dealership repair processes is a plus
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs
