Part time support worker needed for young adult (21yrs) with both physical and developmental need.
Available immediately. Monday, Tues and Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm.
Location: Etobicoke (Burnhamthorpe/427).
Summary:
Support needed for young adult with physical (CP) and cognitive needs (ASD).
Leaning Level approx. grade 2 (math, reading, spelling), program and materials in place. In spite of physical and cognitive limitations (including communication/social), student is an enthusiastic and energetic learner .
This job takes place in student's home, located on border of Mississauga/Etobicoke
Candidates should have min. 3 yrs. relevant experience to support the social and academic development of individuals with multi-exceptionalities and eager to play a role their learning.
Opportunities to attend programs outside of the home may also be explored that include social engagement, skills development.
