Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will have experience in a variety of dental procedures. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to ensure patient satisfaction and the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Execute a range of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and pediatric dentistry.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software.
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable, especially in pediatrics.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
