Fresenius Kabi Canada is seeking full-time Assistant Cleanroom Team Lead to join us in Mississauga at our sterile compounding facility (2400 Skymark Ave).
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cleanroom Assistant Team Lead reports to the Pharmacy Production Supervisor in the Production department located at Fresenius Kabi Canada Hospital Compounding 2400 Skymark Ave.
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Production Supervisor, Manager, Cleanroom Team Lead and/or Pharmacist in charge, the Cleanroom Assistant Team Lead will assist the Cleanroom Team Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of the cleanroom, ensuring that productivity is achieved safely while meeting quality requirements.
The incumbent must ensure that all functions are performed in a timely and efficient basis so that clients receive quality products with 100% customer satisfaction.
The Cleanroom Assistant Team Lead must have the flexibility to assist in production activities such as compounding, staging, component sanitization, visual inspection, labeling and packaging.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists is an asset.
- Pharmacy Technician diploma holder from an accredited Canadian college.
- Previous team leader experience is an asset.
- Minimum 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Previous sterile admixture compounding experience and knowledge required.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent continuous improvement skills
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Comprehensive understanding of sterile compounding guidelines, including NAPRA, USP 797.
- Must be able to understand and adhere with standard operating procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP practices.
- Proficiency with 5S processes and Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic with a respectful and professional attitude.
- Ability to train employees on sterile compounding and other work-related tasks.
- Ability to lead staff meetings.
- Fast learner and highly efficient.
