The Community Training and Development Centre (CTDC), in partnership with YMCA Northumberland and the internationally recognized Norland College (UK), is offering a FREE, hands-on training program to help you start your journey and support you with employment connections.
Serving Central & Eastern Ontario
Flexible Learning Options | Support Available
Program Includes:
- 6 weeks of online, full-time training with live instructors
- First Aid & CPR certification (in-person)
- 2-week local work placement in the childcare sector
- Certificate and transcript upon completion
- stipend may be available for eligible candidates
- Up to $500 in scholarships available for top-performing participants entering ECE college programs

This Program is Perfect For:
- Former PSWs, caregivers, or healthcare workers ready for a change

- People who love working with children and want to work in schools, childcare centres, or youth programs
- Adults 18+ in Ontario, legally entitled to work in Canada
- Anyone motivated to learn and grow into a stable, people-centered career
