Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the consumer and the demand spaces to best strategize programs that deliver growth for L&S Canada
- Responsible for continuous monthly reporting of the business and analyzing the segments they are responsible for utilizing AC Nielsen data and internal sales cognos data
- Continuously analyze performance, strategies and tactics versus objectives and competitive activities
- Utilize all elements of the marketing mix available in the consumer packaged goods environment to fulfill the approved strategies and tactics
- Responsible for managing an assigned portfolio including SKU rationalization, mix strategies and profit optimization
- Analyze viability and sales/profit potential for new products and drive internal process through cross-functional support to meet required deliverables in a timely manner
- Responsible for new packaging development, briefing and managing vendors and stakeholders through the development process
- Manage P&Ls and ensure corporate revenue and gross profit targets are met against all initiatives and segments
- Champion brand initiatives and influence action against key strategies across the matrix organization, with continuous engagement with Lindt Chocolate Shops and wholesale customer accounts
- Liaise with other departments, specifically sales, logistics and finance, to ensure marketing programs are relevant, efficient, achievable, and valuable to the organization
- Work to ensure brand continuity and compliance with international directives and policies
- Manage budget, work within budget parameters and deliver projects on time for the portfolio
- Recommend marketing strategies and tactics in support of corporate objectives to members of the marketing team
- Participate and contribute to the successful operations of Lindt Canada and the marketing team
- Act as project lead with cross functional teams for new and changing products
- Act as brand ambassador with internal and external stakeholders
- University Degree preferred in Business or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years cumulative, progressive experience in a similar brand marketing role
- Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
- Strong Analytic skills including strong working proficiency with AC Nielsen
- Experience generating consumer and customer insights
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively with a strong sense of urgency
- Must be able to function independently and as a team member in a busy and dynamic environment
- Understanding of marketing fundamentals and standard resource
