Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Participate in maintenance activities to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently.
- Gain knowledge in HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing functions.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding plumbing systems and components.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to plumbing work.
- Strong basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced professionals.
- A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
