Plumbing apprentices - Camrose AB.
Actual Mechanical is looking to hire plumbing apprentices. This position is for a Multi-residential work site in Camrose.
Basic hand tools will also be required, however new starts will be given time to assemble their tool box.
In general, we work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with 40-44 hour work weeks. 5 - 8 hour days or 4 - 10 hour days. We do not typically do weekends, evenings or overtime.
Must have valid drivers lic and/or own transportation to job sites.
- Commercial and residential plumbing experience preferred
- Complete tasks and follow directions from the Journeyman supervisor on site.
- Must be punctual
- Must be able to use power tools, hand tools and do physical work.
- Must be willing to work with and learn from journeyman plumber
- Able to take initiative and perform beyond mandatory requirements
- Able to follow proper safety techniques
- Hardworking and reliable, and be able to think through problems
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right the first time
- Preference to those already indentured with a blue book. 1st or 2nd year apprentice.
Summary
As an Apprentice Plumber, you will be integral to our plumbing team, assisting in the installation, maintenance of plumbing systems. Reporting to a licensed plumber, you will utilize core skills such as hand tools and power tools, while also developing premium skills in mechanical knowledge. Your ability to read blueprints and apply basic math will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
