Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in various plumbing tasks. You will be involved in assembling and installing plumbing systems, as well as learning to read blueprints and schematics essential for successful plumbing operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Support the team in assembling HVAC systems as needed.
- Help with troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with experienced plumbers to build skills in mechanical knowledge related to plumbing.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in the plumbing trade.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
- Previous experience or coursework related to carpentry or HVAC is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
