Apple Picker Job Opportunity – Organic Orchard in the Okanagan
We’re looking for experienced apple pickers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season at our organic orchard in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. If you love working outdoors and have a strong work ethic, this is a great opportunity to earn good money in a short time.
Job Details
- Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
- Start Date: Between August 25 and August 30 (to be confirmed)
- Hours: 7–10 hours per day, depending on conditions
- Picking Method: Spot picking by color, 2 picks
- Orchard Type: Organic, using superspindle system
Compensation
- Pay: $38 per bin
- Payment Method: Piece rate (per bin)
Requirements
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
- Must have experience in apple picking
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders while carrying weight
- Must wear proper footwear (no sandals or open-toed shoes)
- Must be okay with dusty conditions and tractor traffic in the orchard
- Picking bags provided
On-Site Accommodation
- Camping available on site
- Shared bathroom, shower, and kitchen facilities
- No dogs allowed
