RAPS is Seeking a Alternating Weekend caregiver (E10)
Location: East Edmonton (Forest Heights)
Days: Alternating Friday 7pm-Sunday 7pm *48 hour continuous shift
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Provide all aspects of daily care, Transfers using a Hoyer Lift (from bed to chair)
· Personal care including bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, etc.
· Bowel routine 3x/week (suppositories, digital stimulation, etc.)
· Catheter care
· Medication administration
· Meal preparation and feeding assistance
· Light housekeeping and laundry
· Completing errands such as grocery shopping
· Providing transportation to and from work/outings
· Support on outings
· Overnight care (night turnings, general assistance if necessary)
Note: There is a Dog in the home
Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a recent criminal record check including vulnerable sector check ,a driver’s license, and vehicle. Previous experience and education in the health care field is considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $200 a day
