Air Import/Export Coordinator
Mississauga, ON | Pay rate- $18–$19/hour
Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Are you experienced in air import/export logistics and looking to join a growing and dynamic team? We are currently hiring for a full-time Air Import/Export Coordinator to support one of our clients with international freight operations in Mississauga.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage air import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documents including airway bills, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.
- Communicate with airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely shipments.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing status updates to internal teams and customers.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation accuracy, and timely filing.
- Resolve any delays, discrepancies, or issues related to shipments.
- Maintain accurate files and records for all import/export transactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience (1–2 years preferred) in air freight import/export operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics documentation and customs procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with freight forwarding software is an asset.
