Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in Off Road Equipment and Hi way Trucks. The successful technician will be detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot issues effectively, and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctions in HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning units.
- Looking for someone with experience with minor repairs on equipment.
- Weld and plumb as necessary for system installations and repairs.
- Build and modify HVAC components as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC or related fields.
- Ability to weld, plumb, build, and maintain various HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of schematics related to air conditioning systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
