Oak Bay Hearing Clinic is seeking a full-time administrative/audiology assistant. This is a full-time position at our clinic on Oak Bay Avenue, with occasional coverage required at our location on Chatterton Way. We are seeking someone who is familiar with, or who is able to easily learn general reception duties such as answering phones, booking appointments, greeting clients, billing, inventory, and shipping/receiving.
The other aspect of the job involves helping people to manage their hearing aids. We have a high volume of walk in traffic who are seeking help troubleshooting their hearing devices. We have extensive on-the-job training for this aspect of the position.
We are first and foremost seeking someone who is kind and patient and who is a people person. There is a lot of client interaction in this position, so we are seeking someone who is able to easily talk to people and, at the same time, able to learn a lot of information in a short period of time. Because of the lengthy process of training in this position, we are seeking someone who is looking for full-time, permanent work.
