Accounting Assistant Centex Petroleum - Calgary, AB
The duties of the Accounting Assistant include:
- Audit and record daily sales;
- Recording Invoices into the accounting system;
- Recording Sales transactions into the accounting system;
- Export the audited daily sales into the accounting system;
- Prepare weekly statements for clients;
- Prepare monthly banking reconciliations;
- Maintain filing and system records;
- Answer client inquires (invoices, receipts, general questions related to customer accounts, etc.);
- Perform accounting and related duties as requested;
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role;
- Fluency in English;
- Fine attention to detail and prides themselves on accuracy;
- Self-starter, able to establish priorities and organize daily workload with minimal direction;
- Good interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to multitask and is a solid team player with the ability to meet defined deadlines;
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows programs with emphasis on MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Quickbooks Enterprise and/or any other Accounting Software.
