Position
We are looking for a highly organized and driven Accounting and Project Assistant to join our growing team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with experience supporting project managers while also handling office and accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities
Project Assistant
- Support project managers with internal financial tracking
- Monitor and manage client and subcontractor purchase orders
- Track changes to project scope and assist with cost reporting
- Review and assist with project proposals
- Ensure all project close-out requirements are completed
Accounting & Payroll
- Oversee timesheet submissions and bi-weekly payroll processing
- Handle/ review accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Support benefit programs, and new hire onboarding
Office Administration & Compliance
- Perform general office duties as required
- Support HR initiatives and employee documentation
Qualifications
- Accounting education with two years of experience.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Experience in bookkeeping and working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
