Summary
We are seeking a passionate Junior Facilitator to join our team at Behaviour Innovations. In this role, you will work closely with children and young adults, implementing ABA strategies to promote positive behavioral changes. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our clients' development and inclusion in various settings. Training will be provided by BCBAs.
Position: Junior Facilitator in Home Based Service Model
Job Type: Permanent- Part Time
- Permanent position with scheduled sessions- after school hours 4:00-6:00pm M/W/F; 3:30-5:30 Tu/Th; one shift on the weekend
Location: Campbellford (Travel and access to a reliable vehicle is a requirement)
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA programs for children and young adults with autism one on one in a home based setting
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain consistent communication with the clinical team regarding client progress
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Provide training and guidance to parents on effective behavioral strategies
- Assist in case management by maintaining accurate documentation of client progress
- Opportunity for Senior Facilitator training and mentorship
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Post Secondary education in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or equivalent. Alternatively a diploma in CYW, SSW, PSW or DSW.
- Experience working with children or young adults in a therapeutic or educational setting.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills to track client progress effectively.
- Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while providing individualized attention.
- Strong organizational abilities with a self-motivated, high-energy and enthusiastic approach
- Updated vulnerable sector screening is required
- Access to a vehicle is necessary as travel is required

Wages are competitive and will be determined by qualifications and experience
