Position:

  • Health and Safety Advisor – Pipeline Construction

Location:

  • Project specific
  • 6 days on 1 day off

Qualifications:

  • NCSO Designation
  • Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred)
  • Consultants preferred

Experience:

  • 5 or more years practicing in the health and safety discipline, preferably in the pipeline industry.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear messaging and maintain high standards of workplace safety and mentor workers on safe and compliant operations
  • Monitor various key performance indicators and advise on areas of opportunity
  • Be visible in the field and be a reliable health and safety subject matter expert
  • Advise people from various disciplines during normal and high stress situations
  • Facilitate various meetings at times in excess of 50 people
  • Creation and maintenance of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Implement and monitor adherence to programs, standards, procedures, and processes that promote the health and safety of workers
  • Participate in or lead incident investigations
  • Develop and deliver training

Remuneration:

  • Hourly and salary options dependent on experience
  • Live out allowance provided
