Duties:
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities for children and youth
- Provide supervision and ensure the safety of children and youth at all times
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children and youth to learn and grow
- Assist with homework help and academic support
- Encourage social and emotional development through positive interactions and role modeling
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive program
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or youth in an educational or recreational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
