Hamilton Montessori School is looking for a part-time yoga teacher. Individuals must provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children's growth in yoga lessons. Children will be ages 4 years (S.K) to 10 years of age (Grade 5).
Duties of Applicant:
- Classroom management skills.
- Prepared materials for yoga.
- Cater lessons to children on different levels, utilizing both indoor classroom/gymnasium and outdoor space as required.
- Creating a fun learning environment for children.
- Managing and motivating students throughout their learning of yoga and meditation.
Qualifications, experience, and skills
- Ability to organize yoga lessons ranging from beginner to intermediate.
- Previous experience leading groups of children (teaching, camp, etc.)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
Education:
- College Diploma or University Degree
Experience:
- Teaching or instructing adults, children and/or Elementary students in yoga.
- Can be a current University or College student.
Schedule:
- One day per week, within Monday to Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
