The First Nations University of Canada, Student Success Services Department is accepting applications for the position of Writing Clinic Instructor at the Saskatoon Campus.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Student Success Services, the Writing Clinic Instructor is responsible for guiding students through the writing process, identifying areas of composition that need improvement, and helping students in those areas. The Writing Clinic Instructor’s role is to help students learn to manage a wide range of writing skills involved in completing university assignments.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching English at high school or post-secondary level
- Comfortable teaching students with varying academic proficiency in a group setting or one-to-one
- Familiarity with both MLA and APA formats
- Familiarity with all aspects of English composition including grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation
- Experience working with mature students in a cross-cultural environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service
