Overview:
The Instructor is responsible for delivering curriculum-based instruction, supporting student learning, and maintaining a professional learning environment.
Location: CDI Winnipeg
Reports To: Education Manager
Job Status: Part-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Compensation: $21–$25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned courses following the approved curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials using various methods
- Monitor and discuss student progress regularly
- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records
- Provide timely feedback and final grades
- Participate in instructor meetings, evaluations, and professional development
- Support curriculum updates and ensure course materials are current
- Follow college policies and cooperate with staff and administration
- Arrange make-up classes as needed
- Maintain industry knowledge and instructional quality
Qualifications:
- Degree, diploma, or certification in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and instructional tools (e.g., SNAP, Certiprep, WileyPLUS)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
