About the Role - Warehouse Associate
This position is responsible for daily inter-branch material transfers and accurate picking, packing, shipping and receiving of material at the branch.
Major Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and putting away orders
- Shipping and Receiving
- Loading and unload goods
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Working with accuracy in a safe and efficient manner
- Operating a forklift
- Obtaining and displaying knowledge of products
- Carrying out other duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Responsible and reliable
- Must be a team player with the ability to also work independently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to accurately follow instructions
- Valid forklift certification or the the ability/willingness to obtain certification
