Job Description – Actuator Technician / Warehouse Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Actuator Technician / Warehouse Manager to join our team. This dual-role position combines technical assembly work with warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for mounting electric actuators onto valves, preparing and shipping customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the shop is clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Actuator Assembly & Testing
- Mount actuators onto valves according to specifications.
- Perform basic function checks to ensure proper operation before shipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor adjustments when required.
- Warehouse & Shipping
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report low stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components.
- Shop Maintenance
- Keep the warehouse and shop floor organized, safe, and clean.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stored properly.
- General Duties
- Support production and logistics workflow as needed.
- Work with management to improve efficiency and quality of processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, warehouse operations, or shipping/receiving preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand and power tools.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
