Fit Vegan Coaching is a whole food plant-based body transformation company dedicated to helping women and men over 50 improve their body composition, build more lean muscle and stronger bones while thriving on a sustainable whole food plant-based lifestyle.
You’ll coach a roster of clients 1:1 and in small groups, guiding them through goal‑setting, habit formation, strength training plans, and approachable whole food plant based nutrition. You’ll blend education, accountability, and encouragement while tailoring plans to each client’s context.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct onboarding calls and intake assessments (PAR‑Q, goals, health history)
- Create personalized habit and training roadmaps aligned with client goals
- Provide ongoing check‑ins via app/DM/email; host monthly/biweekly coaching calls
- Review workout form (video), adjust programs, and manage plateaus/injuries (within scope)
- Deliver practical nutrition coaching (habit-based, non‑restrictive; no medical nutrition therapy)
- Track progress metrics (adherence, strength, energy, measurements, wins)
- Document client notes and uphold privacy standards
- Contribute to group challenges, workshops, and community engagement
You Are:
- Plant based
- A great communicator who coaches with empathy, clarity, and accountability
- Organized, proactive, and reliable with time and client management
- Comfortable with tech (Trainerize/TrueCoach, Google Workspace, Zoom)
- Committed to inclusive, weight‑neutral, and evidence‑based practices
Must‑Have Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of coaching experience (in‑person or online)
- Recognized certification in one or more of: BCPRA, ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, CSEP‑CPT, PN‑1/PN‑2 (or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED
- Solid understanding of strength training basics and behaviour change principles
Nice‑to‑Haves (Bonus Points)
- Background with women’s health, peri/menopause, or return‑to‑training populations
- Experience adapting programs for common limitations (e.g., low‑back pain clearance) within scope
- Group coaching, community management, or challenge design experience
- Content creation skills (short videos, emails, handouts)
