Join Our Team at Glen Arbour – Turf Maintenance Professional
Do you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the results of your hard work at the end of each day? Glen Arbour Golf Course in Hammonds Plains is looking for reliable, hard-working, and team-oriented individuals to join our Turf Maintenance Crew.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in keeping our championship-level course in pristine condition for members and guests.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
As a Golf Course Maintenance Professional, you’ll work closely with our experienced team to ensure the course is always at its best. Daily responsibilities include:
- Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough areas
- Performing bunker maintenance, raking, and divot repair
- Assisting with course setup, including cups, flags, and tee markers
- Operating turf maintenance equipment such as mowers, bunker rakes, and hand tools
- Maintaining and reporting equipment repairs when needed
- Irrigation setup, adjustment, and minor repairs
- General landscaping, facility upkeep, and seasonal tasks
- Following all Health & Safety policies, including proper PPE use

- You enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
- You take pride in making a property look professional and well-kept
- You’re punctual, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- You’re comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods
- You’re available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience is an asset, but not required

Additional Details
- Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferre
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and kneeling required
