Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems
- Conduct inspections of the building to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely manner
- Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary
- Fabricate and install various fixtures, equipment, and structures as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Proficient in basic welding techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Excellent leadership skills to supervise maintenance staff or external contractors
- Strong customer service skills to interact with tenants and address their concerns
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
